Hotel Chianti
This Hotel Chianti is a typical Tuscan borgo beautifully restored by it's owners, Mr and Mrs Aguilar, who were in attendance and very attentive to our Hotel Chianti needs, suggesting itineries and providing maps for our sightseeing. It is well situated for exploring, with easy road communications to Siena, Arezzo, Assisi, Florence, but for us, we got more pleasure from the Hotel Chianti smaller Tuscan towns that the Aguilars sent us to and which we would not have found on our own. Our large bedroom had a most comfortable bed with quality bed linen, the bathroom though perhaps a little cramped, shower only, was immaculately clean and we had a separate sitting room which we hardly used as we were too busy. Hotel Chianti The dining room is in the old wine cellars of the borgo and therefore a little short of daylight but this is more than made up for by the excellent cuisine cooked by the husband and wife team of Lucio and Monica, we had a suckling pig one evening, Hotel Chianti you don't come across that too often. Monica is so proud of her cooking that she came to the table to explain the dinner menu and obtain our Hotel Chianti choices, here we had a bit of language difficulty and a written menu might have been easier but this is not really a problem. All the wines are Tuscan, carefully chosen, try the Prima Voce, terrific! Good value. Hotel Chianti My travel agent reccommended we stayed in Latcastelli as we were three girfriends travelling for the first time to Tuscany and we didn't want to spend a fortune and be Hotel Chianti in cozy places.

It was FANTASTIC. Hotel Chianti My friend who oves horses couldn't belive it! Riding in the beautiful countryside and even practsing polo! The owner are wonderful well travelled people and gave us the right tips on where to go, what to see, and even cose by outlet shopping! Hotel Chianti The food was authentic and yummy and the Manager is a true italian gentleman. Large and comfortable rooms, very good taste, simple elegance and informal at the same time, It was like being in a movie, and clse to all the Tourist attractions... Hotel Chianti We will come back! We stayed at Laticastelli with our 6-month old baby to travel around Tuscany returning every evening to the same place. Laticastelli is an restored borgo Hotel Chianti (ancient mini hill-top town) located in the heart of Tuscany... thus a day trip away from Siena; Monticello, Pienza and Montepulciano; and Asissi... Hotel Chianti all fantastic and 100% recommendable places. Country roads are also beautiful, and the hotel dinner is an amazing 20 euros for a full 3 course dinner with wine (this feat reportedly to last only during 2008). Hotel Chianti All in all, a very recommendable and enjoyable place to stay. It also has an amazing pool and a friendly atmosphere. Castle dating back over 1200 years recently restored into a 15 room historic inn. Large comfortable rooms and suites all with private bath and air conditioning. Hotel Chianti Swimming pool and centuries old park with lounge bar on property. Hotel Chianti Dinners and special events on request. Castle is centrally located for easy access to Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Chianti, Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, and San Gimignano. The thermal water spas of Rapolano Terme are less than 4 km from the property. Castello delle Serre is the perfect location for lovers of history, art, food, wine and the natural beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
