Horse riding, activities and excursions. |
At Laticastelli, you can go horse-riding along the paths that meander through thousands of hectares of woodland in the vicinity. If you'd like to be a little more active, you can take polo lessons or participate in polo matches. At this Country Relais, you can easily go for an invigorating walk, a jog or a cycle ride, or if you're more interested in re-charging your batteries, you can lie back and soak up the sun before taking a dip in the pool, marvelling all the while at the sublime views.
Just a few minutes' drive will take you to the Terme di Rapolano, with their thermal spas dating back to the Roman period. A plethora of small villages and Mediaeval castles are located nearby. Mountain bikes are available for our guests to use. The famous “Eroica” cycle route – which includes certain tracts of the Via Francigena – passes through an area not far from our Country Relais. An amateur cycle race is held once a year along this route.
